When Rabobank N.A. was expanding in to California they did so by purchasing small community banks in select regions. As they moved in to an area to competition would bash Rabobank for being a large institution. This is counter to Rabobank’s roots as a community bank that was formed in the Netherlands. It was our job to communicate that with customers.
We took a regional approach and set out to shoot several different spots for the different regions they were in. Each was shot on location featured local landmarks and community members. The audio and edit points stayed them same to keep down editing costs and make the entire project cost effective. After the first spot we shot subsequent spots in a half day knowing exactly what we needed to get.
The result was a cost effective way to cement Rabobank in to the communities. The client made the comment that they loved the fact that it didn’t have a title card.
